In this course, students will explore the essential principles of portrait painting, including facial proportions, structure, composition, color, and more. Instruction focuses on oil painting techniques, with particular emphasis on mixing colors to achieve realistic skin tones.
By the end of the course, students will have completed a portrait from start to finish and will possess the skills and knowledge to continue practicing independently.
Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Drawing I & II, Oil Painting I
